No Apologies Round Two

"Few if any recent generations could sit with a Bible in one hand and their newspapers in the other and see the fulfillment of prophecy, but for us it’s almost routine." Jack Kelly

And The Beat Goes On- towards a one world government

I've been pretty quiet lately about all the global warming scam news. I've gone from being livid at the so called elites dictating what we are all going to do in stamping out global warming and listening to drippy commercials with little kids telling me we're all going to die (or is that fry?) if we don't stop being greedy capitalist pigs. I've also had some pretty good laughs at the green guru, algore getting caught in more and more lies every time he gasses up the private jet and opens his mouth at some gala. It really makes the Bible verses from 1 Corinthians come alive! You know, "For it is written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate", and "For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom". 1:19 and 1:25 a

I had to finally say something though- as this is such a major setting up of Biblical prophecy- almost as big as Israel becoming a nation again. What is happening now over in Copenhagen, will have severe consequences for all Western nations (read- those who are the more rich and more free countries) wherein our hard earned money will be taken and given to the poor undeveloped countries- where you and I will be told how much and what kinds of cars, light bulbs, homes, energy and properties we may use and buy, all the while paying massive cap and trade taxes so the rest of the world can be "paid back" for our polluting the rest of the world- the greedy buggers we've been. While I know that America's role will decrease- is decreasing, in the world, according to the Bible, I am sick and so tired of being blamed for something that is non existent, and having our liberal traitors who happen to work in their cushy Washington offices at our expense, flying off in multiple jets to other countries to trash America!

Hilarity Clinton just pledged that the US would contribute to a 100 BILLION dollar fund (per year mind you!) which will go toward cutting so called green house gasses and giving financial aid to underdeveloped countries. Now, remember- the greenhouse gasses they're talking about is carbon dioxide. You know, the gas that human beings breath out, plants breath in to produce oxygen for human beings to breath in? We will be essentially taxed for breathing. Do you breath? What about drive a car? You'll be taxed on both. Or, maybe you live in the city and you ride a bike instead of driving. Stupid as it sounds, you are detrimental to the environment, because if you exert yourself while biking, you're breathing in and out more, thereby contributing more greenhouse gasses than say, some slob who sits on his couch all day.
See how stupid this all is? What about those curly light bulbs? Got them yet? You know, the ones which contain enough mercury to require a hazmat team to come clean up if one happens to break in your house? You know that regular old fashioned wasteful American invented and American made incandescent bulbs will be banned in 2 years? This is just the beginning.

Now, for the second part of this whole hoax. The greenies, "scientists", professors and environmental think tanks, elitist government officials and guys like algore stand to rake in billions once these ridiculous laws go into effect. Oh, but they will have to cut back too! After all, they care about the environment so much! WRONG! Algore spends more in home energy in one month than the whole state of Tennessee does in a year. The guy flies all around the world, owns SUV's and leaves massive carbon prints all over the world. He's not the only one who's a hypocrite. Remember Sheryl Crowe? Miss 1 square of toilet paper? Sure, she drives to her concerts in a bio fuel bus- but she has a convoy (er, entourage) of 20 SUV's driving with her to evey concert. Look at the environmental waste of those attending the Copenhagen summit! Everyone comes in their own jets- so many that Denmark can't handle them all! They are having to divert planes to places such as Germany, and then those folks have to drive (in limousines!) to Copenhagen. There were not enough limos in the country, they had to import dozens just for this event.

These people go around making plans for the rest of us, while jet setting and globe trotting telling each other how much they care- and justify it by telling us how much energy we will be allowed to consume, and patting themselves on the back by "buying" carbon offsets. Oh, and I think I've mentioned it before- algore owns major stock in the offset racket.

Think about it. If there were no global warming (or now that it's so darned cold- it's now called climate change) the think tanks and scientists would be out of jobs, or there would be no reason to receive government grants to study anything. Algore would have to give back his Nobel prize and oscar, and admit that his inconvenient movie was a scam from the get go. He'd have to fade back into obscurity in his palatial home in Tennessee. There would be .... drum role please, no reason to dictate to the rest of the world on what they can or can't do. There would be no reason for world governments to come together to plan on world government.

All these people are totally aware that they propagate a lie. They all know there is no such thing as man made global /climate change, that it's a natural occurrence for the earth's temperatures to fluctuate depending on the sun, natural events such as volcanic activity and such.

Here's a couple of snippets from some of the world's "experts", then I'll make my close.

Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring that about?” – Maurice Strong, founder of the UN Environment Programme

No matter if the science of global warming is all phony… climate change provides the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world.” – Christine Stewart, former Canadian Minister of the Environment

Quote by Louis Proyect, Columbia University: “The answer to global warming is in the abolition of private property and production for human need. A socialist world would place an enormous priority on alternative energy sources. This is what ecologically-minded socialists have been exploring for quite some time now.”

Quote by Michael Oppenheimer, major environmentalist: “The only hope for the world is to make sure there is not another United States. We can’t let other countries have the same number of cars, the amount of industrialization, we have in the US. We have to stop these Third World countries right where they are.”

Quote by Paul Ehrlich, professor, Stanford University: “Giving society cheap, abundant energy would be the equivalent of giving an idiot child a machine gun.”

Quote by Ted Turner, billionaire, founder of CNN and major UN donor: “A total population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels, would be ideal.”

Quote by Timoth Wirth, U.S./UN functionary, former elected Democrat: “We’ve got to ride the global-warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic policy and environmental policy.”

Quote by Richard Benedik, former U.S./UN bureaucrat: “A global climate treaty must be implemented even if there is no scientific evidence to back the greenhouse effect.”

Quote by David Frame, climate modeler, Oxford University: “Rather than seeing models as describing literal truth, we ought to see them as convenient fictions which try to provide something useful.”

Isn't that something. These are the same kinds of people who believe that Biblical Christians are dangerous because we believe in the Second coming of Christ. They call us flat earthers and deniers. Funny, some people who were Biblically ignorant in the middle ages may have thought the earth was flat- but it took a knowledge of the Bible to prove that it was not!

These folks would call me an idiot and naive because I know there will be a one world government, run by the Antichrist because the Bible foretold it. They would pooh pooh such an idea of creation, and the radical thought that man can not change the world. To these folks, the idea of man causing the earth to melt is completely rational, but the fact that Jesus Christ will create a new heaven and new earth is a fairy tale. These folks who believe not on the idea of a fallen world through sin, but an uneducated world where folks can learn to become a perfect Utopian "garden of Eden" by a small group of enlightened elites who know what's best for the masses. These people who do not believe in God Almighty, but god the man, who has the power to change the climate- for worse as in the case of greedy capitalists, or for better as in the case of compassionate socialist dictators.

I will never believe in the global warming/change hoax. The Bible is clear in the fact that God is the Creator, and that He would not create a planet which was not sustainable for the whole people population. To suggest that man can make or break "mother earth" is a pompous, arrogant and ridiculous claim. The Bible is clear in the fact that in the end times, which is rapidly approaching, there will be a one world government. At the beginning of the Antichrist's rise to power, this man will seen benevolent and kind hearted, only wanting the very best for mankind. In a few short years however, he will show himself, to be the evil, satanic beast he really is. When Christ comes back and finally puts Satan in his place, then the old earth and old heavens will pass away. That, my friends, is the true story of the end- not the sky is falling kind of chicken little message which is global warming.

Global warming needs no savior. We as people do- and I've found Him -Jesus. I pray you will find Him too- before He comes and your chance is gone.

God Does Judge

I was reading a commentary by WorldNet Daily's Joseph Farah earlier tonight, and it was a well written form of something that has been on my mind for quite a long time. You can read his column here. His article basically said that Government does not give rights (they are, as our Founding Fathers recognized, given by God) and that government can not, and should not condone sin. The fact that the homosexual lobby has been so successful in the past decade to not only push for tolerance, but for acceptance under threat of prosecution (through hate crimes legislation), is like a plumb line of how far America, and many other countries have drifted so far into immorality. Now, before I get called out as a homophobe or intolerant bigot, or whatever else, it's not only homosexuality which is such a rampant and public acceptance of sin in our society. It's all sexual sin- whether adultery, homosexuality, pornography, pedophilia, and the high numbers of kids having sex. All these things are rampant in our society, and it shows how far we have gone from God.

I find that for the homosexual issues, is that when Lawrence Vs Texas was big news, about allowing homosexuality to be legal in that state, the main question was what right does anyone have to go into a private bedroom and dictate what 2 consenting adults can do?
I can admit that's a fair question, and the answer is clearly- no one has that right. However- and that's a BIG however, when that practice steps out of the bounds of personal property and openly flaunts it in the public forum, and when it is forced by threats of law, that's when it no longer is private and only between 2 people.

Private sin- that is, the behavior between one person and God, is just that- between them and God. When the State, or Country government allows, promotes and affirms such as a special right, which is to be accepted - that makes it a national sin, no longer between one person and God but the whole society and God. When homosexuals have their "gay pride" parades, they openly flaunt and outrageously shove something the majority of society believe is abhorrent and sinful behavior. When homosexual groups go after churches and individuals because we oppose same sex marriage, it is no longer private. When these same groups trample the Constitutional will of the people of states, it is no longer private. It is now between the states and God.
It was interesting that while I was reading the commentary, the other big entertainment story of the day was Adam Lambert's performance at the American Music Awards. I don't watch TV much at all, but once in a while I still like to watch who is doing well in shows such as American Idol. I like music and appreciate talented regular folks and like to see those unknowns find a big break in shows such as Idol. For those of you who don't know who he is, Lambert was last year's runner up- a very talented guy, whom many thought would win.

Anyway, Lambert is gay. His performance at the AMC Awards was to put it mildly, a sort porn performance. Many of the comments were negative of his "show", and rightly so. This kind of act has no place on public TV, especially when teens and preteens across the country are watching. Some of the comments were not surprising (in our present society) positive, and those accused the negatives as being mean or bigoted. Most of those, and Lambert himself brought up the point that he's not the first to have a sexually provocative performance. One only has to see Madonna, Britney Spears and even lately Miley "Hanna Montana" Cyrus ( another Hollywood worldly and confused Christian) to see such sexually charged acts. They are right. There have been many- from the Madonna/Spears kiss, Madonna strutting around in pointy bras, Cyrus doing a pole dance and the famous "wardrobe malfunction" of Janet Jackson- not to mention Michael Jackson's seeming affliction which made him constantly grab his lower regions every other dance move.

My point here is not to dredge up all this porn- it's to show that our society is sick, but we have ignored our heavenly Healer!

When the very Church ordains openly gay clergy, that is between the church and God. God's Word clearly condemns homosexuality, and it also says that God does judge nations for sinful behavior. Farah points out in his article, what happens to a nation which is unrepentant of national sin (which always begins as personal sin)- He leaves the people to their own, gives them over to their sinful and destructive ways. When a nation forgets or ignores the Lord, that nation will fall into worse and worse public behavior until it ultimately destroys itself.

It is the same thing with all sexual sin. That's why it doesn't matter when people such as Adam Lambert and his fans claim that others have done it- so let him be. It doesn't make it right- and it was never right no matter who does it. When we have preachers in the church who are adulterers, such as Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson, our churches are sick. When our church is sick, it's no wonder that our society is sick. Robinson is openly gay, but the other issue is that he was married, and pursued his homosexual relationship when he was married- that is adultery. We have men like Ted Haggard who had sexual relations outside of marriage. We have no real difference in the church divorce rates to the unchurched. Our kids are learning sex at younger and younger ages. Pornography is rampant. Pornography also knows no difference between Christian men and non believers. Porn is ruining families, harming children and even fracturing church homes. Pedophilia and crimes against children are growing to a daily occurrence. Abortion is a huge issue as more kids are allowed to kill their babies without parental knowledge, and in some cases, minors are victims of rape, but the rape is allowed to continue due to "privacy rights". Our nation is sick.

These all start out as a personal sin. What starts in a person's own life, their own heart, grows without repentance, and spreads into and affects the rest of society. We are seeing serious signs of being under judgement from God. I shudder to think of what else will come as our nation's sin waxes worse as the Lord leaves us to our own. I pray He will help us, but I can't blame Him if He doesn't.

Soft Talk in a Hard World

Joel Osteen, America's Prosperity Pastor has a new book called "It's Your Time: Activate Your Faith, Achieve Your Dreams, and Increase in God's Favor". You might be aware of his previous best seller, "Your Best Life Now". In that book he wrote about how God wants you to live the best life you can, full of prosperity and all good things for those faithful enough to promote positive thoughts and prayers. I never read the book. I won't be reading his latest one either. I do however have a set of tapes of Osteen, which my mother in law asked me to buy so she could hear him speak. She loves positive messages. I do too, when kept in proper perspective. I have to admit, Osteen is a great speaker, and he is up beat and leaves you feeling good. But, is that what God wants us to focus on?

The problem with Osteen and others is not that they are good at what they do, it is what they do with what they have been given. They have the knowlege of Christ in them, but they focus more on the world, and what we can achieve more than who Christ is, why He came and how He will come again. The problem is, that with all the feel good stuff, which is temporary, they leave out the "meat" or the nourishment which is designed to help us achieve that which will have eternal benifits. They fail to tell others about the Gospel of Christ.

With all the feel good messages, which is not all that bad, but these messages alone are sure to set immature Christians and others up for a disappointment, in their lives, but more importantly in their spirit as well. There are many people angry at God when things they pray for don't come their way. When these folks who buy the tapes, books and attend seminars and coffee cafe churches don't get what they believe is their best now, it's not necessarily the preacher who gets the criticism- it's with God that these folks focus on with doubt and disappointment.

Which brings me to the main point of Osteen's (and others' feel good) books. After millions of people purchased these books, believing that if they have enough faith in God, and that He wants us all to be happy and prosperous, when they "name and claim" what they want out of life, and when they see the prosperity that these preachers have, what happens when the economy collapses? What happens when these positive thinkers lose their job? Their homes and savings?
While some may blame God for not prospering them, or question Him for allowing their jobs and homes to be lost- many are left in a place where they shrug it off, go with the flow and try again- in their own efforts to pick up and start again. Then when Osteen writes another book- one which says "Gee, I'm sorry you lost your savings, but you can keep the faith a little while longer, and it will all come back tenfold or more- just like Job!"
If you only keep up the faith! You can still have happiness and prosperity now!!

Isn't that great! NOT. For those who question God in the "why's", it may drive them away from believing which will some day fall on these prosperity pastors when they come before Christ. It also makes it harder for those who are not big name, big budget mega church stars, those who are trying to show one soul at a time of the love of Christ through His salvation. People will be put off, with a "been there done that" type attitude and may never come to the true Grace of Christ.
For the rest- those who go with the flow until the next how to book comes out, they will continue in their worldly pursuits, while Osteen and others make a few more millions claiming things which God has never promised.

No where in the Bible will you find it that God's focus is on our happiness. No where will you find that He means for us to live our best now- focusing on worldly things such as enough money, a big house, nice cars and a vacation once or twice a year. Not that there is anything wrong with these things! It is where the pastors focus your thoughts- on stuff instead of salvation. Stuff is nice. I would love to have a nicer house without mouse holes, and I have to admit that air conditioning would be kind of nice in the hot Florida summers too- but my mind is not focused on these things anymore. My heart is in heaven, where Jesus has gone to prepare a room for me! I can be reassured that the room my Lord is preparing is nicer, and more incredible than any place I can imagine having here on earth! And I know there won't be any bugs or rodents there either!

Our family, and millions of others have gone through a lot these past few years. My family has gone through 3 major hurricanes, a wild fire and other things which over the past 5 years depleated much of what we were able to save. My husband has been out of work since January, and our savings is gone.

Where would I be if I had have listened to Osteen or others instead of listening to the Lord? For one, I would be in despair over what will happen to my family. I would be worried constantly over every bill and expense. I would be questioning God, instead of thanking Him. I would be looking to the government to save me, instead of my Lord sustaining me. I would have given up, you see, because if I had followed all these name it and claim it preachers- well, that would have convinced me that I lacked faith because the good stuff hasn't come, and in fact, things have gotten worse over the past few years.

I thank God that I haven't fallen into the traps of pastors who ought to be showing people the way, the truth and the life, but I feel bad for those who have. I feel bad that there are so many millions of people who have been taught nothing except for what they can have now- but missing out on what they can have for eternity. This life is short. Some would use it as an excuse to live it up. But eternity will be so much longer than this life. Wouldn't you rather focus on what you can have in the long run?

Christ taught that His own would be persecuted as He was. He taught us that our real home is with Him in heaven and with our Father. He commands His own to go into the world, but not be a part of it- telling others about His grace and salvation. It's a shame that so many pastors who have been blessed with the chance to change the world by telling the world about Jesus, His death on the cross for all, and His resurrection - victory over death, so we can be with Him always, have ignored Him!His wish for us isn't that we have everything we want on this earth! He wants us to be obedient to Him so He can give us everything we need, and bless us with unimaginable things in our next life!

One last thing. I've noticed that in the past few years of things going wrong, have brought me closer to Him- to come to depend on Him, not myself. It has helped me to realize that everything He wants for me, and is willing to bless me with is found only in His Word. By reading the Bible every day, I am able to learn to hear Him, gain strength from him to sustain me through these times. And when times continue to get harder, I will have learned through Him to continue to lean on Him until some day I will be with Him and not have to worry anymore.

No prosperity pastor has taught me that. Only Jesus has taught me that. I pray that others will learn from the source of life and liberty- instead of reading about Him! I pray too, that these pastors will learn the errors of their way, repent and start using what God has given them to finally tell the whole truth, and not just the feel good junk food which keeps their own prosperity rolling as people lose faith in the One who really knows what prosperity it- the One who gave His life, so we could have our best life with Him!

Freedom leads to prosperity

I've found it interesting that while the world watches the party in Berlin on this 20th anniversary of the fall of not just the wall, but of communism, our own political leaders are doing everything they can to bring America under the old commie ideals. I thought I'd post some of Ronald Reagan's speech here for this anniversary. Due to it's length, I won't post the whole speech, but you can read the whole thing here.

While many worked hard and were passionate about bringing peace to the world, to those who lived under the iron fist, it brought so much to so many. That said, it is sad that peace has never been really achieved through human endeavors- there will some day be true and everlasting peace through Jesus Christ. So many people have given their lives to bring about something better for others, to follow the moral choice in which all can live in freedom from oppressive authorities- much like Jesus, who, maybe not in the world's view of freedom, offered Himself so all the world could be free, not just in this life, but for eternal life. I pray that you will take up Jesus on His offer, so that the excitement of those who were there 20 years ago, tearing a concrete wall, you can have that same excitement of an eternity of peace, fellowship and love of Christ!

Ronald Reagan:

Our gathering today is being broadcast throughout Western Europe and North America. I understand that it is being seen and heard as well in the East. To those listening throughout Eastern Europe, a special word: Although I cannot be with you, I address my remarks to you just as surely as to those standing here before me. For I join you, as I join your fellow countrymen in the West, in this firm, this unalterable belief: Es gibt nur ein Berlin. [There is only one Berlin.]
Behind me stands a wall that encircles the free sectors of this city, part of a vast system of barriers that divides the entire continent of Europe. From the Baltic, south, those barriers cut across Germany in a gash of barbed wire, concrete, dog runs, and guard towers. Farther south, there may be no visible, no obvious wall. But there remain armed guards and checkpoints all the same--still a restriction on the right to travel, still an instrument to impose upon ordinary men and women the will of a totalitarian state. Yet it is here in Berlin where the wall emerges most clearly; here, cutting across your city, where the news photo and the television screen have imprinted this brutal division of a continent upon the mind of the world. Standing before the Brandenburg Gate, every man is a German, separated from his fellow men. Every man is a Berliner, forced to look upon a scar.
President von Weizsacker has said, "The German question is open as long as the Brandenburg Gate is closed." Today I say: As long as the gate is closed, as long as this scar of a wall is permitted to stand, it is not the German question alone that remains open, but the question of freedom for all mankind. Yet I do not come here to lament. For I find in Berlin a message of hope, even in the shadow of this wall, a message of triumph.
In this season of spring in 1945, the people of Berlin emerged from their air-raid shelters to find devastation. Thousands of miles away, the people of the United States reached out to help. And in 1947 Secretary of State--as you've been told--George Marshall announced the creation of what would become known as the Marshall Plan. Speaking precisely 40 years ago this month, he said: "Our policy is directed not against any country or doctrine, but against hunger, poverty, desperation, and chaos."
In the Reichstag a few moments ago, I saw a display commemorating this 40th anniversary of the Marshall Plan. I was struck by the sign on a burnt-out, gutted structure that was being rebuilt. I understand that Berliners of my own generation can remember seeing signs like it dotted throughout the western sectors of the city. The sign read simply: "The Marshall Plan is helping here to strengthen the free world." A strong, free world in the West, that dream became real. Japan rose from ruin to become an economic giant. Italy, France, Belgium--virtually every nation in Western Europe saw political and economic rebirth; the European Community was founded.
In West Germany and here in Berlin, there took place an economic miracle, the Wirtschaftswunder. Adenauer, Erhard, Reuter, and other leaders understood the practical importance of liberty--that just as truth can flourish only when the journalist is given freedom of speech, so prosperity can come about only when the farmer and businessman enjoy economic freedom. The German leaders reduced tariffs, expanded free trade, lowered taxes. From 1950 to 1960 alone, the standard of living in West Germany and Berlin doubled.
Where four decades ago there was rubble, today in West Berlin there is the greatest industrial output of any city in Germany--busy office blocks, fine homes and apartments, proud avenues, and the spreading lawns of parkland. Where a city's culture seemed to have been destroyed, today there are two great universities, orchestras and an opera, countless theaters, and museums. Where there was want, today there's abundance--food, clothing, automobiles--the wonderful goods of the Ku'damm. From devastation, from utter ruin, you Berliners have, in freedom, rebuilt a city that once again ranks as one of the greatest on earth. The Soviets may have had other plans. But my friends, there were a few things the Soviets didn't count on--Berliner Herz, Berliner Humor, ja, und Berliner Schnauze. [Berliner heart, Berliner humor, yes, and a Berliner Schnauze.]
In the 1950s, Khrushchev predicted: "We will bury you." But in the West today, we see a free world that has achieved a level of prosperity and well-being unprecedented in all human history. In the Communist world, we see failure, technological backwardness, declining standards of health, even want of the most basic kind--too little food. Even today, the Soviet Union still cannot feed itself. After these four decades, then, there stands before the entire world one great and inescapable conclusion: Freedom leads to prosperity. Freedom replaces the ancient hatreds among the nations with comity and peace. Freedom is the victor.
And now the Soviets themselves may, in a limited way, be coming to understand the importance of freedom. We hear much from Moscow about a new policy of reform and openness. Some political prisoners have been released. Certain foreign news broadcasts are no longer being jammed. Some economic enterprises have been permitted to operate with greater freedom from state control.
Are these the beginnings of profound changes in the Soviet state? Or are they token gestures, intended to raise false hopes in the West, or to strengthen the Soviet system without changing it? We welcome change and openness; for we believe that freedom and security go together, that the advance of human liberty can only strengthen the cause of world peace. There is one sign the Soviets can make that would be unmistakable, that would advance dramatically the cause of freedom and peace.
General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization: Come here to this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!

I applaud President Reagan's efforts, along with others who have promoted life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness which is in our own founding documents.

However, I say again, that humans may try, only One can give life, liberty and the pursuit- and our founders knew... from Almighty God, our Creator. Won't you trust in Jesus so you may receive the Blessings of true Peace and security?

A God Thing

I have written before about those times when you're reading the Bible, and you have one of those "slap me in the forehead" moments. I had another one.

My friend and brother in Christ, David Jeffers has been doing an incredible series on his blog over at Salt and Light (see it in the side bar here and go check it out) . He's been teaching on the importance of Biblical principles, the founding documents and voting on these foundations. Voting for those who hold our values as dear as we do- those who don't separate their Biblical principals and their political asperations.

I have been having a big anger issue for quite a while about those in Washington (NO! I don't say!) While there is nothing wrong with being angry about dishonest and corrupt politicians, and those who are railroading the people, I have found lately that I am no better than those I see who are so hateful towards Biblical conservatives such as myself. I read the comments on so many political sites and some of the language is enough to curl your hair, some of it violently angry. Although I haven't been quite that bad, I have gotten to the point where I call people names and such, but it makes me no better than those who do the same or worse.

After reading Davids articles and devotions this week, and seeing such hatred from people on all sides of the political spectrum, I realized my sin and asked the Lord to help me. To help me not sin in my anger, to help me keep things in perspective.

I know that He is in control, and that all things- good and bad, He is working for His purpose. I'm not saying that He is pulling stings on anyone, and especially not those in power, but those in our capital and around the world in working for their own power, glory and ideals are in fact playing into what the Lord has already told us about. Unless you are a Biblical Christian and know the signs the Bible tells us about, you wouldn't understand how close we are to the second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He laid out all the signs for us to follow so we would be prepaired. If you've read any of my prophecies series you would see how many of these are comming to pass before our eyes.

This is what I meant when I asked to keep things in perspective. Now, am I allowed as a Christian to get angry when I see a group of "elites" running this country into the ground and hurting millions of people in the process? Yes. Am I allowed to speak out at what I see as corruption and power plays at the expense of not only our citizens but also those of the world who are effected? You betcha.

What I can not do however is stoop to their own level in my anger, and I must be like Christ when dealing with these things. I need to pray (which I do) for them, that they would know Jesus as their savior, and that we can find Biblical minded people to run for the next elections- whether we have a few days left before Jesus comes or years before He comes. I need to keep on praying for those in power, I need to keep praying that our country will come back to the foundations on which God blessed so richly in the beginning.

Now, for my slap me in the forehead verses which I read last night.

Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when men succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.

Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;
do not fret—it leads only to evil.
For evil men will be cut off,

but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.
A little while, and the wicked will be no more;

though you look for them, they will not be found.
But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy great peace.

The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them;
but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming.
The wicked draw the sword and bend the bow to bring down the poor and needy,

to slay those whose ways are upright.

But their swords will pierce their own hearts, and their bows will be broken.
Better the little that the righteous have than the wealth of many wicked;
for the power of the wicked will be broken, but the LORD upholds the righteous.

Amen and Amen! Maranatha!

If it Looks Like a Duck, Walks Like a Duck....

You've all heard that little ditty, and most of you have most likely read the Biblical saying that you are who you are acquainted with.

Even though the lame stream media tried their hardest to keep such things from the public, we all know about Obama's ex pastor- rabid Black Liberation, anti Semitic, anti American Joe Wright. We also know about Obama's friendship and working relationship with domestic terrorist turned University professor (gee, imagine that!) Bill weather underground Ayres.

OK, now I know you're thinking, yeah, well that's old news. Tell us something new why don't you.

I'm working something out now, which will show how much this occupant of the oval office has such hatred for America and the founding documents including the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. It all boils down to who he is by his associations.

A few months ago, I wrote about the Czars. Remember, these people are non elected henchmen for the president, who never went through any vetting process, nor ever had to appear before congress or the senate. These people hand picked by Dear Leader have as much power as Dear Leader himself, but are answerable to no one but him. So who are these folks and why does it matter?

Lets do a quick rundown shall we. First off there was Van Jones. Thanks to people from everywhere but the mainstream media, Jones was exposed as a 9/11 truther nut among other crazy ideas- so before he could be quietly let go by Dear Leader, he stepped down as "Green" Jobs Czar.

We have more than 30 of them. Most of them are as crazy as Jones if not more frightening. So who are these people? According to Donna Brazile, a CNN contributor and Democratic strategist, "President Obama is assembling the best and the brightest to help transform our economy to ensure that we can adapt to the new conditions that face us each and every day," she said. "These are people with special expertise."

Special expertise?! Due to space, I will only do a quick look at each.

Energy czar Carol Browner-
Worked on the Socialist International's Commission for a Sustainable World Society, which argues that the global community must work collectively to address environmental policies .

Urban czar Adolfo Carrion, Jr.-Has undergraduate degree in world religions from Kings College; became an associate pastor at a Bronx church; earned his master’s degree in urban planning from Hunter College, he was an active campaigner for Obama, travelling across the country to speak on his behalf. He focused particularly on states with large Hispanic populations. The NY Daily News reported numerous developers made tens of thousands of dollars in campaign donations to Carrión around the same time he was considering approving their projects in the Bronx

Science Czar John Holdren - Is an outspoken advocate of the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and believes the United States should sign the Comprehensive Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty. In a 2008 New York Times op-ed, Holdren called climate change skeptics “dangerous” members of a “denier fringe.” In 1971, co-authored a paper in Global Ecology suggesting "some form of ecocatastrophe, if not thermonuclear war, seems almost certain to overtake us before the end of the century." He is also a proponent of population control through forced abortion a la China.

Regulatory czar Cass Sunstein - In his 2004 book, Animal Rights, suggested that animals ought to be able to bring suit, with private citizens acting as their representatives, to ensure that animals are not treated in a way that violates current law. A man who's academic specialties include constitutional law, administrative law, and regulatory policy , he is a scary proponent of unconstitutional ideas such as repealing or severely restricting the 2nd Amendment, for population control through methods such as forced sterilization and abortion. He also stated "the state owns the rights to body parts of people who are dead or in certain hopeless conditions, and it can remove their organs without asking anyone's permission." Now if that doesn't give you the creeps, you have no heart.

You can go here for the full list.

Now, we also have other minions who surround the Dear Leader. Who are some of these people? Well, the latest, and also interestingly enough will be "leaving" her post at the end of the year, is Anita Dunn. For those of you who have never heard of her, she is the Communications Director for the Obama Admin. She is also the one who recently stated that " If we went back a year ago to the fall of 2008, to the campaign, that was a time this country was in two wars that we had a financial collapse probably more significant than any financial collapse since the Great Depression. If you were a Fox News viewer in the fall election what you would have seen were that the biggest stories and the biggest threats facing America were a guy named Bill Ayers and a something called ACORN."

She adds, "The reality of it is that Fox News often operates almost as either the research arm or the communications arm of the Republican Party. And it is not ideological... what I think is fair to say about Fox, and the way we view it, is that it is more of a wing of the Republican Party."

Funny how Fox back then was reporting on ACORN, considering that non of the Dear Leader's news stations were silent about ACORN's exploits at least until this past summer when the corruption got so outrageous they had to have a fly by. Interesting side note, that although congress vowed to take away funding for Dear Leader's favorite community organizers, that was only a temporary stay- they will, unless people melt phone lines, be re funded starting on Midnight of Oct. 31.

Back to Ms Dunn. Not only is she not a fan of Fox News- did you know she is a fan of Mao! How about this, Mao is one of her favorite philosophers! Her husband is lawyer Robert Bauer, who tried to get the DOJ to prosecute conservative critics and punish TV stations for running an ad critical of Obama’s relationship with Weather Underground Bill Ayers. Her own firm did the ads for disgraced ex gov. Rod Blagojevich in Illinois in 2002 and 2006.

You can see her stirring pro Mao speech here.

We can be sure there will be more to come in following months. I just pray we won't be too late to do something about this. Make no mistake people. With the healthscare bills which promote elderly death counseling, abortion across the board, more govment involvement in people's private lives and this administration's tactic of cutting down and trashing critics- Marxist doctrines are running rampant in the White House.

More to come as news breaks. Until then, I will be working on our Constitution and how dear leader and his lackeys are doing everything they can to work against it.

I Am Salt!

I can't say this any better. It's what I have talked (Preached?) about for years. Read on if you are SALT!

Do Something Worthy of Persecution

By Dave Welch

At the risk of offending all the sensitive pastors and young evangelicals who are so anxious not to be the "Religious Right," I would like to propose that it is time they do something worthy of persecution. I had the privilege of being in a meeting with Open Doors USA President Carl Moeller last week and heard about the incredible work they are doing to support our persecuted brethren in countries where it really means something. With the passage – again – of hate-crimes legislation in Congress last week as Democrats deviously leeched it onto the Defense Appropriations bill, the noose continues to tighten on biblical Christianity in America. Also last week, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, our ACLU activist-turned-judge, postulated that as a resolution to the "unconstitutional" situation of a cross as a veteran's memorial in the Mojave National Preserve, the federal government "remove the cross, then sell the land back to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, which originally built the memorial 75 years ago."(A side note – Justice Ginsburg is late to the game … the "Market-Driven Church" has already "sold the cross.")To cap the week off, our president reaffirmed his commitment to destroy marriage and family by removing barriers to open gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, etc. practices in our military and overturning the Defense of Marriage Act.Not exactly a banner week for Americans who hold to traditional values and Judeo-Christian principles as espoused by 400 years of our forefathers. But then again, We, Those People, are really the problem anyway, are we not?According to British theologian and author Os Guinness, the "Religious Right" is the cause of the militant gay-rights movement, and we repeatedly hear major neo-evangelicals apologizing for and distancing themselves from the religious conservatives who have fought for the sanctity of life, the protection of the family and God's design of marriage.Let me give some good news to those of the "new" evangelical paradigm: Very few of you are in danger of immediate persecution through hate-crimes legislation, the pro-sexual diversity tyranny of the Obama administration, the global elites of the major media or even proponents of Islam and "inter-faith dialogue" on "social justice."Why? These evangelicals are no threat to them because they don't preach from the pulpit or speak publicly anything that raises a standard of significant opposition but rather placates the American Christian church into a state of spiritual, moral, cultural and political neutrality. The clear truth is that not even the most hardened secularist of the cultural or political left will attack a pastor for feeding the hungry, clothing the naked or sheltering the homeless. It is also clear that our Lord directs we do those things IN HIS NAME.The problem is that the social side of the Gospel is only of value if it is inseparably linked with the spiritual side of the Gospel and the "hard truth" of our sin nature with redemption only through Jesus Christ. His name is the offense, not the actions of religious conservatives. The message of our day for Bible-believing citizens is to feed, clothe and shelter the needy, but don't do it in Jesus' name; shut up and let us continue to steal your children, kill the unborn, glorify sexual perversions and force you to declare that all religions are equally true. Not on my watch. Those of us who refuse to parse our faith in that blatantly unscriptural manner are indeed going to be targets of various types of "persecution," but it is time we just say, "Bring it on!" I must bow with shame before my brothers and sisters in nearly every Asian, Middle Eastern, African and South American country who truly suffer and often die for simply following Christ. The American Christian church is largely an embarrassment to 2,000 years of our forebears not because we have stood too strongly but because we have not lived and practiced "holy living" as described by Dr. Moeller as the primary reason Chinese Christians explain the revival there under Communist tyranny. We have reveled in our comfort and blessings, sought peace rather than righteousness and fallen down before the evil in our land. The God-given duty to govern righteously was thrown off of the biblical bandwagon decades ago by the evangelical church to focus on "spiritual matters."There are two basic biblical reasons for persecution, both found in Matthew 5, and I will leave you to consider which we legitimately can claim in this country today:
Option 1: "Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me" (Matthew 5:10, 11).
Option 2: "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men" (Matthew 5:13).Pastors in particular need to remember the warning by Mordecai to Esther as she was considering whether to risk her life to speak out:
"For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?" (Esther 4:14)Paul Middleton, one of my early mentors and a pro-life champion from Washington state, used to quip that it was his goal to either help bring about renewal and revival or "be first in line for the firing squad." How about you?

A little end note by Carolyn:

I don't want to get in people's faces, and I'm not going to intentionally provoke with anything I write or post. However, I will never shy away from teaching and writing the Truth of Christ, and since it is Christ's Name in which is offensive, I know that it may be that I will find myself in touble some day because of other people's version of tolerance. I am NOT politically correct, and I am NOT soft on opinion and truth. People are tolerant of all sorts of lifestyles, religions and speech these days UNLESS it is a fundamental Bible believing Christ follower.
All I can say is if you need to persecute me for my faith in Jesus Christ- Bring it on.

Just a thought

While I always feel for people who lose a loved one, and I feel sympathy for the Kennedy family, I have a few things to point out about Sen. Kennedy. Not wanting to speak ill of the dead, but we can be sure that as I write this, liberals are getting together, happy for the perfect timing of Kennedy's demise so they can use it, soak it and wring it for all it's worth to try and pass healthcare reform. Kennedy was a far left liberal- and an avid fighter for socialized medicine.

Please though- think about this. If Kennedy was under the healthcare plan the socialist obama government is trying to force on the rest of us- He would have died a lot sooner. Either he would have been denied treatment because of his age and the severity of the disease, or he would have had to wait so long for treatment, he'd never have had made it this long.

I'm not trying to be mean spirited- just speaking the truth, which those who are running Washington feel we needn't know.

Borrowed this one from Alan Caruba- Yes,

A picture does say a thousand words, and then some.

Keep on speaking the truth people. The community organizers in the White House don't like it one bit!

“I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face.."

Barack Obama 2008

“And if they tell you that, ‘Well, we’re not sure where he stands on guns.’ I want you to say, ‘He believes in the Second Amendment.’ If they tell you, ‘Well, he’s going to raise your taxes,’ you say, ‘No, he’s not, he’s going lower them.’ You are my ambassadors. You guys are the ones who can make the case,”

Too bad as usual the libs, er, I mean progressives don't take the first Amendment seriously either, unless of course, they are the ones using it.

The Great Czar Invasion

This may be one of the last posts I do, unless people start paying attention and waking up to the truth of what is going on in this country and in the world. I have been so burned out over the past few months- trying to warn people, show people, inform and spread the truth. No one seems to be listening. So much about this present administration has disturbed me greatly, and it seems as though I can't keep up with everything. I am grateful for other bloggers who continue to spread the truth of the ungodly mess this elitest power in Washington is bringing on the world- and who have been showing also, the Truth of our Lord Jesus Christ, who warned through His Word that these times would be coming on stronger as birth pangs.
I have and will continue to answer any questions relating to anything political or Biblical.... I just pray that people will start thinking and learning.

"The biggest problems that we're facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all. And that's what I intend to reverse when I'm president of the United States." -- Sen. Barack Obama, March 31, 2008

I know the idea of having czars is not limited to the OOO (occupier of the oval office) as other presidents have had such as "drug czars", "education czars" etc. However with the obami administration's highering of multiple czars, last I counted there were 32 of them!

Now think for a minute. These people are placed by the adminstration, but they are accountable to no one BUT the obami administration. These people are forming and suggesting policies which no one of the public can question. They are not elected, they are not a part of congress or the senate. They are unelected yet have as much, if not more power than the legislative branch of our government. They are not subjected to Senate confirmation or congressional oversight and therefore are a huge threat to our system of checks and balances. To me, this is a frightening prospect considering the socialist mindset of those running Washington.

Just who and what are these czars anyway? Well, just for starters, we have : A Mideast peace czar (not to be confused with the Mideast policy czar), a Sudan czar and a Guantanamo closure czar. Then there's the green jobs czar, the energy czar, the technology czar, an urban affairs czar, the Great Lakes czar or the WMD czar, the terrorism czar. The stimulus accountability czar, the TARP czar, the government performance czar, the information czar. We have a science czar, health czar and a pay czar. We had a car czar, but he stepped down after some sort of controversy. Gee, if everyone in Washington would step down over a controversy, I doubt there'd be anyone left!

Anyway, that's just the main ones. There are more. Gotta love big bloated government expecially when the private sector are losing their businesses and jobs.

So, let's look at one of these people, dear leader OOO has brought into his fold. If it doesn't raise the hair on the back of your neck like it does mine, well you're a much stronger person than I.
One thought before I introduce you to our science czar. I was talking with my husband about this earlier. I said normally if someone were to claim the things I'm going to show you, we'd be labled as lunitics. It sounds too fantastic to be real, and sounds totally like a conspiracy theory, but let me assure you, these are not normal times. These are not some back woods wierdos. These are highly educated people, people with a very disturbing ideal, which, if you've read any of my blogs, tells me that the times of Biblical prophecies are coming on quickly.
Who is the science czar? His name is Eric Holdren.

In a book Holdren co-authored in 1977, the man now firmly in control of science policy in this country wrote that:
• Women could be forced to abort their pregnancies, whether they wanted to or not;
• The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally put into the nation's drinking water or in food;
• Single mothers and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them against their will and given away to other couples to raise;
• People who "contribute to social deterioration" (i.e. undesirables) "can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility" -- in other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized.
• A transnational "Planetary Regime" should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans' lives -- using an armed international police force.

Here are some direct quotes from his book, Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment

"The fetus, given the opportunity to develop properly before birth, and given the essential early socializing experiences and sufficient nourishing food during the crucial early years after birth, will ultimately develop into a human being,”

"Indeed, it has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution if the population crisis became sufficiently severe to endanger the society"

" If a single mother really wished to keep her baby, she might be obliged to go through adoption proceedings and demonstrate her ability to support and care for it. Adoption proceedings probably should remain more difficult for single people than for married couples, in recognition of the relative difficulty of raising children alone. It would even be possible to require pregnant single women to marry or have abortions, perhaps as an alternative to placement for adoption, depending on the society. "

"Adding a sterilant to drinking water or staple foods is a suggestion that seems to horrify people more than most proposals for involuntary fertility control. Indeed, this would pose some very difficult political, legal, and social questions, to say nothing of the technical problems. No such sterilant exists today, nor does one appear to be under development. To be acceptable, such a substance would have to meet some rather stiff requirements: it must be uniformly effective, despite widely varying doses received by individuals, and despite varying degrees of fertility and sensitivity among individuals; it must be free of dangerous or unpleasant side effects; and it must have no effect on members of the opposite sex, children, old people, pets, or livestock. "

"A program of sterilizing women after their second or third child, despite the relatively greater difficulty of the operation than vasectomy, might be easier to implement than trying to sterilize men. ... The development of a long-term sterilizing capsule that could be implanted under the skin and removed when pregnancy is desired opens additional possibilities for coercive fertility control. The capsule could be implanted at puberty and might be removable, with official permission, for a limited number of births."

On the new world order:

"Perhaps those agencies, combined with UNEP and the United Nations population agencies, might eventually be developed into a Planetary Regime—sort of an international superagency for population, resources, and environment. Such a comprehensive Planetary Regime could control the development, administration, conservation, and distribution of all natural resources, renewable or nonrenewable...."

"If this could be accomplished, security might be provided by an armed international organization, a global analogue of a police force. Many people have recognized this as a goal, but the way to reach it remains obscure in a world where factionalism seems, if anything, to be increasing. The first step necessarily involves partial surrender of sovereignty to an international organization. "

Michelle Malkin recently wrote about him saying, " Well, I did read one of Holdren's recent works. It revealed his clingy reverence for, and allegiance to, the gurus of population control authoritarianism. He's just gotten smarter about cloaking it behind global warming hysteria. In 2007, he addressed the American Association for the Advancement of Science conference. Holdren served as AAAS president; the organization posted his full slide presentation on its website. In the opening slide, Holdren admitted that his "preoccupation" with apocalyptic matters such as "the rates at which people breed" was a lifelong obsession spurred by Harrison Brown's work. Holdren heaped praise on Brown's half-century-old book, The Challenge of Man's Future, and then proceeded to paint doom-and-gloom scenarios requiring drastic government interventions to control climate change. Who is Harrison Brown? He was a "distinguished member" of the International Eugenics Society whom Holdren later worked with on a book about -- you guessed it -- world population and fertility. Brown advocated the same population control-freak measures Holdren put forth in Ecoscience. In The Challenge of Man's Future, Brown envisioned a regime in which the "number of abortions and artificial inseminations permitted in a given year would be determined completely by the difference between the number of deaths and the number of births in the year previous." Brown exhorted readers to accept that "we must reconcile ourselves to the fact that artificial means must be applied to limit birth rates." If we don't, Brown warned, we will face a planet "with a writhing mass of human beings." He likened the global population to a "pulsating mass of maggots." When I pressed Holdren's office specifically about his relationship with Brown, spokesman Rick Weiss told me he didn't know who Brown was and balked at drawing any conclusions about Holdren's views based on his homage just two years ago to his lifelong mentor, colleague and continued inspiration, Harrison Brown."

So it would seem that Holdren hasn't changed his views on the progressive's favorite topics- eugenics and environmentalism. He's only changed the way he speaks publically about them.
Recent statements by the White house and Holdren's staff "When asked whether Mr. Holdren's thoughts on population control have changed over the years, his staff gave The Washington Times a statement that said, "This material is from a three-decade-old, three-author college textbook.

Dr. Holdren addressed this issue during his confirmation when he said he does not believe that determining optimal population is a proper role of government. Dr. Holdren is not and never has been an advocate for policies of forced sterilization." ... The White House also passed along a statement from the Ehrlichs that said, in part, "anybody who actually wants to know what we and/or Professor Holdren believe and recommend about these matters would presumably read some of the dozens of publications that we and he separately have produced in more recent times, rather than going back a third of a century to find some formulations in an encyclopedic textbook where description can be misrepresented as endorsement."

While they might distance themselves now that these views have come to light, they can not deny that Dr. Holdren favors government control over population growth and Holdren himself has never renounced and disavowed the contents of Ecoscience.

When under questioning, Senator David Vitter asked Holdren " In 1973, you encouraged "a decline in fertility well below replacement" in the United States because "280 million in 2040 is likely to be too many." What would your number for the right population in the US be today?
John Holdren: I no longer think it's productive, Senator, to focus on the optimum population of the United States. I don't think any of us know what the right answer is. When I wrote those lines in 1973, uh, I was preoccupied with the fact that many problems the United States faced appeared to be being made more difficult by the greater population growth that then prevailed. I think everyone who studies these matters understands that population growth brings some benefits and some liabilities; it's a tough question to determine which will prevail in a given time period. I think the key thing today is that we need to work to improve the conditions that all of our citizens face economically, environmentally and in other respects. And we need to aim for something that I have been calling ‘sustainable prosperity.’”

What has changed? Well, when he co authored the text book, he was not being considered for a high powered, president appointed position. He was a liberal writing for a liberal University. He was not being interviewed when he was able to speak freely, knowing only like minded progressives would be reading.

"To date, there has been no serious attempt in Western countries to use laws to control excessive population growth, although there exists ample authority under which population growth could be regulated. For example, under the United States Constitution, effective population-control programs could be enacted under the clauses that empower Congress to appropriate funds to provide for the general welfare and to regulate commerce, or under the equal-protection clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. Such laws constitutionally could be very broad. Indeed, it has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution if the population crisis became sufficiently severe to endanger the society. Few today consider the situation in the United States serious enough to justify compulsion, however."

"Social pressures on both men and women to marry and have children must be removed. As former Secretary of Interior Stewart Udall observed, "All lives are not enhanced by marital union; parenthood is not necessarily a fulfillment for every married couple." If society were convinced of the need for low birth rates, no doubt the stigma that has customarily been assigned to bachelors, spinsters, and childless couples would soon disappear. But alternative lifestyles should be open to single people, and perhaps the institution of an informal, easily dissolved "marriage" for the childless is one possibility..."

"Individual rights must be balanced against the power of the government to control human reproduction. Some people—respected legislators, judges, and lawyers included—have viewed the right to have children as a fundamental and inalienable right. Yet neither the Declaration of Independence nor the Constitution mentions a right to reproduce. Nor does the UN Charter describe such a right, although a resolution of the United Nations affirms the "right responsibly to choose" the number and spacing of children (our emphasis). In the United States, individuals have a constitutional right to privacy and it has been held that the right to privacy includes the right to choose whether or not to have children, at least to the extent that a woman has a right to choose not to have children. But the right is not unlimited. Where the society has a "compelling, subordinating interest" in regulating population size, the right of the individual may be curtailed."

This man is frightening. But more so when we consider something seemingly unrelated. Swine flu.

Much has been made of the swine flu in recent months. So much so, one would think it was an actual epidemic such as Ebola, the Bubonic Plague or some such actual mass killing infection. While I am not discounting the people who have died from this, in actuality though, this is about as serious as our regular flu pandemics which happen every year with more deaths reported than with this one particular strain. It is interesting however, that the WHO and UN, and some of our world governments have been scrambling to find a vaccine for this particular strain, which, could work against the human immune system such as with many new strains of bacterias which are no longer susecptible to penicillin due to over use.

Consider the past thoughts and statements of people such as Holder, and we have someone who could (not saying would- but we never know) work with the health czar and the UN, on "eradicating" the swine flu by administering flu shots to all populations. Think about it. Not much of a stretch to think they could put some sort of sterilization drugs in these vaccinations. Think about other proponants of eugenics, the fact that people such as Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, who believed in abortions for undersirebles such as the poor and those of color. These people really would have no problem going into the poorest parts of the country to administer these shots, knowing it would limit or stop future generations of poor, and in a socialist society, unproductive individuals who are no use to the state. They could also "lovingly euthanize" the elderly with a vaccine. After all, in the socialist society, the elderly are a drain on the government, past being able to contribute to the community, too old to work for the common good.

Sounds like a luny horror movie script doesn't it? Only problem is, is this scenario, as unbelieveable as it sounds could be something the elite environmentalists, those who value the creation instead of recognizing the Creator have no real compulsions about euthanasia, forced abortion or anything that could stand in the way of a utiopia, perfect society which they want to bring about.

The Bible warns us about ungodly practices in the latter days. Those days are here. Our present OOO has surrounded himself with an ungodly people who have to answer to no one. People were warned, but the people also wanted change without thinking of consequences. I have, as thousands of others been sounding the alarm over our government and the Biblical prophecies coming to pass for years. Are you willing to listen now? Our present government is wanting to silence people like me, putting me off as an extremest, bigoted and inclusive homophobic fear mongerer, a birther nutjob. I have been called worse, and will continue to be called all sorts of things.

One thing I have learned, is that when you are coming too close to the truth, those spreading the lies will come at you with everything they can. Some day, soon, those of us who oppose the spirit of the antichrist will be either silenced or removed from this world
by our Savior and Lord Jesus. Will you remember the warnings?

Something's Wrong With the Church Today

Back in the 90's, the rock band Aerosmith had a song called Livin' on the Edge. The first verse starts with "There's somethin' wrong with the world today, I don't know what it is. Something's wrong with our eyes. We're seein' things in a different way, and God knows it ain't his. It sure ain't no surprise ..."

Now, I'm not trying to try to figure out the theology behind the song, but I couldn't help but think of those lyrics when I was thinking of the state of the world, but mostly the Christian church today.

Normally, I'd post something like this on my Understanding the Biblical Prophecies blog, but something about all of the apostasy in the Church is not just a prophetic happening, but is a sad state of the church, and it's influence or lack thereof on our society. I thought it would be in keeping with my old No Apologies Blog.

Something is wrong with the world today- and it is evident by what is wrong in our churches- or more importantly, the men and women who are the "heads" of the church. It has been throughout history, the church which has been the influence on society. Good or bad, the actions of society has been a direct result of the action or inaction of our church pulpits.

Back in the early days of America, the church pastors and elders could be found among and even as some of the signers of our founding documents. They could be found on the battlefields among those "Minute Men" fighting at a moment's notice against the British. They could be found in the earliest congress- not as career politicians, but as servants to the people, their flocks. They viewed public service as their God given duty to shape and help the new nation grow into a prosperous and morally driven land, begun for, Blessed by and "under God".
It was because of the Christian influence that so many people came from all over the world- for the freedoms. The fact that our basis was formed by the acknowledgement that it is God who created all equal, and that He has given each human the liberties espoused in the Declaration and our Constitution. People may argue, but the fact remains that it was because of our Christian heritage that all people had the freedom of worship or not to worship, the freedom of any religion. Ours was not a theocracy, because true Christians know that the only theocracy is ruled by Christ, and not men.

I wanted to start with the short history lesson because it does have much to do with what I am talking about when I said, good or bad, the actions of society has been a direct result of the action or inaction of our church pulpits. When pastors recognised Jesus as God, the Bible as the sole authority of the Lord's very Word, and when pastors taught the truth of Christ from the pulpit, and lived the truth in their private and public lives, in their communities and in their politics, ours was a Blessed nation. Where the people knew where those blessings came from. Once heretic ideas crept into the church, more modern gospels, designed to be inclusive to other religions, the old idea of the Bible being the Word was thrown out. It has come to where the people teaching, the leaders of the flock are ignorant of the Word, they don't believe it to be the Word.

We have leaders such as the bishop of the Episcopal Church who recently said "the evangelical notion that individuals can be right with God a "great Western heresy" that is behind many problems facing the church and the wider society," and spoke about "the great Western heresy -- that we can be saved as individuals, that any of us alone can be in right relationship with God." And of course she blames individualistic views of salvation for everything that is wrong in the church in the United States. The article goes on about humaneness, caring, sharing and being in harmony with all of creation.

This is clearly unBiblical teaching from a woman who, although may have attended theological seminaries and years of schooling, but has no clue of the Truth of God who gave us His Word.
We are saved by our INDIVIDUAL choice to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We are saved by our acceptance of the Grace of God, who sent His only Son to take on the sin of the world on the Cross. Jesus is the only way, and we can not depend on church memberships, the salvation of our parents, or other people's beliefs to be saved. We all must come to Him as ourselves to be washed by His blood, to be sanctified by Him. We must confess with our mouth that He is Lord and Savior. There is no other way around Him.

I agree that simply saying some words to the effect of "please Jesus, come into my heart" are not enough. There must be a genuine feeling and knowing of personal sin and the desire to repent and ask Jesus to free us from our sin, and acknowledge Him as our Savior and Lord.
Once saved, we do have the need and command to be with the body- other believers. We have to follow His command to spread the Gospel of Christ and to show His love, but without the individual choice to come to Him in the first place, the rest is useless.

We have mega star pastors such as Rick Warren, who although have sometimes enough of the Gospel message in his church, does not have much of a message of Christ outside of the church. The past few years have brought attention to Warren, and for him, it has been enough of a good thing. Unfortunately for the people he could be witnessing to, it has been at the expense of their souls. This man may be one of the most well known pastor of the world since Billy Graham. He has an incredible opportunity to tell the Gospel message of Christ to heads of state, to individuals and to groups of all faiths- but he doesn't use it. Instead of talking about sin, the cross and redemption by Jesus Christ alone, he talks of helping the world by interfaith ideas and love.
Again, in a world focused society, this is a good message, and it is important to show love to others and help the needy and the infirm. However, without the message of Christ, these people may be given temporary comforts of this life, but will be lost for eternity. Again, one without the other is useless.

People have a hard time, it seems distinguishing the difference between tolerance and truth, or between offending and saving. While only the Holy Spirit can convict hearts, we are denying people the chance of salvation when we don't tell them the truth of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. Some people are so worried that they won't be allowed to attend and be asked to speak at high profile events and councils if they include the Gospel message. They are more interested in image than salvation of the lost. Pastors of the modern postBiblical churches seem to be more willing to pay attention to human words than to follow and teach from God's Word.
It is no different offending those of other religious beliefs than those who practice sinful lifestyles. These days it is considered hate speech to tell the message of a Loving Creator, who willingly took sin upon Himself so we could all be right with God. Again, people do not accept anymore, that offensive and divisive word called sin. If they are not considering themselves as sinful, they do not need the message of a Righteous God- so they accept the touchy feely, love and peace only god.

We have the church telling the people that homosexuality, adultery, pornography, witchcraft, abortion and idolatry are all OK. That in our more modern society, these practices are normal, and that we are so different than the societies in the Bible were which prohibited such acts. For the fact is, that many do not take the Bible as the Word of God, so the parts which speak against these behaviors is ignored or brushed of as obscure passages. Those who believe in God's Word are considered divisive, narrow minded and bigoted.

We have people such as the Dean of the Episcopal Divinity School in Massachusetts, The "Rev" Katherine Hancock Ragsdale who thinks that the people who run abortion clinics are “heroes” and even “saints”, and considers the access to affordable abortion as "not a tragedy in sight - only blessing.” All the while comparing pro life groups as harassing and annoying. She goes on to explain about how their work of keeping abortion legal is not done- saying, "When doctors and pharmacists try to opt out of providing medical care, claiming it’s an act of conscience, our work is not done, " claiming that "others pay the price for their principles.""These are the two things I want you, please, to remember - abortion is a blessing and our work is not done. Let me hear you say it: abortion is a blessing and our work is not done. Abortion is a blessing and our work is not done. Abortion is a blessing and our work is not done. I want to thank all of you who protect this blessing...You’re engaged in holy work."

Clearly, I am missing something here. This woman is a Dean of a Divinity school, so obviously she is educated. She is also a "Reverend". What parts of the Bible which the Lord talks about children and His knowing them before they are born does this woman not understand? Again- she, like so many others are more concerned about individual and feminist ideas, that they ignore the Word of Him who Created them and every unborn child who has been murdered in their mother's womb. They place a higher priority on the woman's individual rights while ignoring that she is not the only person to consider when there is a life inside of her. It is teaching how to place more value on a temporary situation instead of helping the lost come to a Salvation in Christ and be with Him for eternity.

We have Pope Benedict XVI, who while visiting Jordan, spoke of his "respect" for Islam. The Vatican's official transcript of the Pope's comments at the Amman airport records him as saying:"My visit to Jordan gives me a welcome opportunity to speak of my deep respect for the Muslim community, and to pay tribute to the leadership shown by His Majesty the King in promoting a better understanding of the virtues proclaimed by Islam."
The Pope is not a diplomat, he is not a head of State. He is the head of the Catholic Church. He is to be an ambassador of Christ, not a politician. He is talking of respect for Islam, which we can respect individual people, but to say as a Christian leader that he respects another religion is not Biblical. We can not respect someone into heaven, but we can disrespect them as a human beings by not telling them the Truth of Christ, and in not doing so, chance them being condemned as unbelievers.

By someone such as the Pope to highlight another religious belief, is in essence pulling others away from Christ. It is denying the truth of Christ Himself and blinding non believers from the only salvation possible.
We can respect Muslim people for their contributions and culture. But we cannot respect a belief system that denies the truth of the gospel, insists that Jesus was not God's Son, and takes millions of souls and dooms them. The only way we as Bible believing Christians can truly respect others is by sharing the Gospel message of Christ's love and Salvation.

The Pope also made a more recent statement just before the G8 summit. He called for a "true world political authority" to manage the affairs of the world. At the same time, however, the Pope also warns that such an international order could "produce a dangerous universal power of a tyrannical nature" and must be guarded against somehow. So which one to choose?
Sounding like Obama , Pope Benedict says this new international order can be accomplished through "reform of the United Nations Organization, and likewise of economic institutions and international finance, so that the concept of the family of nations can acquire real teeth." He is also espousing the environmentalist ideas of global warming, suggesting "a worldwide redistribution of energy resources, so that countries lacking those resources can have access to them." He goes on, sounding more and more like algore than the Leader of the Catholic Church.
In short, much of Pope Benedict's speech sounded more like an endorsement of the soon to come Antichrist's One world government.

When those who are in authority in the Church ignore or are ignorant of the truth of the soon coming of Christ, and the end times, they teach that it is up to man to solve all the world's problems, and that we are in essence left on our own. There is no teaching that Christ will be coming soon to make things right.

There are many in the church today who believe that the end time prophecies are fiction, or symbolic. They think that those of us who believe in the prophecies are dangerous. They also have the ignorant belief that some how the church has replaced the nation of Israel as God's chosen. Hence the term the "replacement theology."

That is one of the reasons why so many who call themselves Christians are anti Israel and pro palestine. They do not see Israel as God's chosen, and to them, Israel is a trouble making, apartheid making evil doer who use excessive force against those who only wish to live in the land owed to them. To them, Israel is the enemy. Israel is what is wrong- and they are the ones holding up the peace process in the Holy Land. There is no belief in the very real fact that Israel has a huge part and is still the apple of God's eye.

People such as The Episcopalian Bishop, Jefferts Schori, church groups such as the NEA, mega church pastors such as Rick Warren and Joel Osteen, Emergent leaders such as Rob Bell, and political figures such as Jimmy Carter are all focused on the world, but using Christ for their own purpose. They are more interested in popularity, money to build bigger and bigger buildings, and receiving accolades from social groups and prominent people. They are the politically correct, but Biblically incorrect.

I am not saying they have no genuine concerns for people, they obviously do because they are always pushing for human rights, issues of the poor and social change, and they care about the world and push for better stewardship by joining with environmental groups.

The problem lies with, and I have addressed this in the past, is that they forget about Christ's reason for coming the first time, and will not recognize Him when He comes again. They are more focused on their will be done on this earth to make it like heaven, instead of God's will be done on earth as it already is in heaven. No matter how much we all want a better world- it will not be so until Jesus comes and makes things right.

The problem in the church is that those who are leading the people don't know themselves, the Deity Jesus, and His Word. They know that He is love, but they ignore that there is such a thing as Divine wrath. The thought of it makes them uneasy and it goes against their grain of thought that there is no real sin, so they work at erasing all thought of it, lest anyone of the world finds offense. They argue that God is loving and merciful, and therefore God's Anger is merely a fairy tale with which to scare misbehaving children. However, the same Bible which tells of God's Mercy speaks of His Wrath, and as a matter of fact, refers more frequently (much more so) to His anger than it does to His love.

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life; but he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him" (John 3:36).

"Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience" (Eph. 5:6).

In these, and in other passages too numerous to mention, the fact of the Divine wrath is affirmed. And now in closing, let us think.

Because God is holy He hates sin, and because He hates sin His anger burns against the sinner. Notice though, He does not hate the sinner. His anger is against the sinner.
God's wrath is not some thing that's symbolic. His wrath was not symbolic when He poured it all out on His only Son, who was hanging on a Cross.
Everything about God is unique. His power is omnipotent. His wisdom is so great that no one can comprehend it. His love is unsearchable and long suffering. His grace is unfathomable. His holiness is unapproachable. And like all of these, God's wrath is incomparable, incomprehensible, infinite. And what will the wrath of the Almighty be like during the time of Tribulation? And what can humans do to withstand it? Nothing. It will overwhelm them. It will sink them into the lowest thoughts of hopelessness. It will be, in a word- unbearable.
The unsaved is moving down a very slippery path. It is not that God is not coming back- it is because of His love for all humanity that I am even still here, that we are still here, He is waiting for all who would come to come. But someday soon, He will come again.
The unsaved see little cause for need of immediately accepting Christ as his Savior. They imagine themselves secure, especially since they are not taught otherwise! They are not given the Gospel Truth from modern feel good and inclusive messages.
We never know when our time is coming. There is no chance after death. The only warnings people have are in this life- which are to be given out of love yes! But out of truth, which too many mega star pastors and those who are more concerned of worldly things are not telling!
It is up to all to warn our neighbors, our family, our friends. And even to the strangers among us- no matter who they are or what their beliefs. We need to be more worried about the unsaved spending eternity apart from God's pure love and grace than risk offending them.

"Seek ye the Lord while He may be found: Call ye upon Him while He is near."

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved."
